John Commane In the late 70’s I attended evening Art classes at North Warwickshire College in Nuneaton, this was when I first started making pottery for leisure. In the late 90’s I studied ceramics and glass up to HND level, under the stewardship of international potter; Jo Connell. I then continued my studies at Birmingham City University. On returning to Nuneaton College, I taught Flexi-Access Foundation Pottery. My primary discipline is ceramics, specialising in ‘Raku’ fired pieces. I like to explore other areas of ceramic making and firing techniques. The options are endless. I am a member of Art Alert and Escape Warwickshire. |
